Bowdon Educational Foundation

 

 

Since its formation in 2010, the Bowdon Schools Education Foundation (BSEF) has provided higher learning opportunities that would not otherwise be possible due to state and county education cuts to our students at Bowdon schools.  Thanks to the help of generous donors, BSEF has provided contributions toward the following opportunities:

 

  • Promethean Board for BES
  • Robotics Program for BES and BMS
  • Math Program for BMS
  • Computer Lab Upgrade for BHS
  • Gifted Field Trip to Discovery Cove for BES
  • Fine Arts Musicals and Plays for BES and BMS
  • University of West GA STEM Program for Pre-Engineering and Science Students at BHS
  • Academic Team Study Guides for BES and BMS

How Can You Help?
Donating

  • Make donation checks payable to the Community Foundation of West Georgia, 807 S. Park St. Carrollton.  Include “BSEF” on the memo line (All donations are tax deductible)
  • Sign up at Bowdon City Hall to have monthly donations added to your monthly water bill
  • Ask your company if it offers matching grants
  • Memorials/Honorariums (forms available at Rainwater Funeral Home, 317 N. Carroll St., Bowdon)
